Punggol is Singapore's newest and fastest-growing new town, located at the north-eastern tip of the island. Developed from the 2000s onwards, it is designed as a waterfront eco-town and attracts young families and first-time homeowners with modern housing, parks, and digital infrastructure.

Amenities & shopping Waterway Point at Punggol MRT is the main retail and lifestyle hub, featuring a cinema, supermarkets including NTUC FairPrice and Sheng Siong, and a wide range of dining options. Punggol Plaza serves the older part of the estate. Food options include Punggol Nasi Lemak (a local institution) and the hawker centres at Oasis Terraces and Waterway Woodlands. Transport & accessibility Punggol MRT is the terminus of the North-East Line, with an LRT network (Punggol LRT) connecting internal parts of the town.
