Waterway Point
Built around the scenic Punggol Waterway, Waterway Point at 83 Punggol Central introduced a new generation of waterfront suburban retail when it opened in 2016. Developed jointly by Far East Organization and Frasers Centrepoint, the mall was designed to integrate directly with the surrounding waterway landscape rather than operate as a standalone enclosed shopping centre. Its design includes outdoor plazas, waterfront areas, and community spaces that distinguish it from many traditional suburban malls.
The development houses fashion retailers, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, family services, beauty concepts, and entertainment options across multiple levels. The mall’s integration with Punggol Waterway Park creates a strong lifestyle component, with residents frequently combining shopping visits with cycling, jogging, or family outings along the surrounding waterfront areas. Weekend crowds are particularly strong due to Punggol’s large population of young families.
Punggol MRT Station (NE17/PTC) and the Punggol Bus Interchange are directly connected to the development.
