VivoCity
Dominating Singapore’s southern waterfront district, VivoCity at 1 HarbourFront Walk is the country’s largest shopping mall and one of its most visited retail destinations. Designed by internationally renowned architect Toyo Ito and opened in 2006, the development was envisioned as more than a shopping centre — its wave-inspired architecture and waterfront setting were intended to create an experience that blended retail, leisure, and public space. The rooftop Sky Park and open-air amphitheatre have since become some of the mall’s most recognisable features.
Housing hundreds of stores across multiple levels, VivoCity offers a broad mix of international fashion labels, department stores, supermarkets, cinemas, lifestyle brands, restaurants, and entertainment attractions. The rooftop water play area is particularly popular with families, while the mall also serves as the primary gateway to Sentosa through the adjoining Sentosa Express monorail station. Nearby HarbourFront Centre and the Southern Waterfront precinct add further commercial and recreational activity.
HarbourFront MRT Station (NE1/CC29), an interchange between the North-East and Circle Lines, is directly connected to the mall.
