Taman Jurong Shopping Centre

Among the earliest neighbourhood shopping centres developed in western Singapore, Taman Jurong Shopping Centre at 399 Yung Sheng Road has served generations of residents within Jurong West and Taman Jurong since opening in the late 1970s. Long before integrated mega malls became common, the shopping centre functioned as an important everyday hub where residents gathered for groceries, meals, and routine services. Its long-standing presence has made it a familiar landmark for many households in the west.

The centre accommodates supermarkets, educational services, eateries, clinics, retail shops, and businesses focused on practical daily needs. Nearby Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre continues to attract strong local crowds with affordable hawker food and fresh produce. Larger retail destinations including Jurong Point, Boon Lay Shopping Centre, and Westgate are also easily accessible from the area. The nearby Jurong Lake Gardens further enhances the district through extensive recreational and nature spaces.

Lakeside MRT Station (EW26) on the East-West Line serves as the nearest rail connection, while bus services throughout Jurong West provide convenient accessibility.
