Punggol Plaza
Long before many of Punggol’s newer developments arrived, Punggol Plaza at 168 Punggol Field established itself as one of the estate’s original neighbourhood shopping destinations. Opened in 2004 to serve Punggol’s growing residential population, the mall became an early retail anchor for residents moving into Singapore’s then-emerging north-eastern town. Over the years, it has maintained its role as a practical community mall focused on convenience and family-oriented services.
The mall houses supermarkets, enrichment centres, dining outlets, healthcare providers, beauty services, and everyday retailers supporting residents of surrounding neighbourhoods. Food outlets and tuition centres contribute to regular daily activity, while nearby schools and residential developments ensure a steady flow of visitors. Newer destinations including Waterway Point and Oasis Terraces now complement the area’s retail landscape.
Coral Edge LRT Station (PE3) on the Punggol East Loop sits directly beside the mall, connecting residents conveniently to Punggol MRT Station (NE17/PTC).
