NEX

Dominating the heart of Serangoon town centre, NEX at 23 Serangoon Central has established itself as one of Singapore’s largest suburban shopping malls and the key commercial anchor for the north-east region. Opened in 2010 and developed as part of an integrated transport and retail hub, the seven-level mall serves residents across Serangoon, Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol, and surrounding estates. With annual footfall reaching tens of millions of visitors, it remains one of the country’s busiest shopping destinations outside the city centre.

Spanning more than 600,000 square feet of retail space, the mall houses over 300 stores covering fashion, electronics, beauty, groceries, and family-oriented services. Anchor tenants include FairPrice Xtra, Isetan, Shaw Theatres, Courts, H&M, and numerous dining concepts ranging from international brands to local favourites. A rooftop dog park and children’s play area add a distinctive family-friendly element to the development.

Serangoon MRT Station (NE12/CC13), an interchange between the North-East and Circle Lines, is directly integrated with NEX alongside the Serangoon Bus Interchange.
