At the creative and technological heart of Singapore's one-north business park, Fusionopolis at 1 Fusionopolis Way is a landmark research and development complex that brings together high-tech companies, government agencies, R&D organisations, and a rich retail and lifestyle podium under one distinctive roof. Developed by JTC Corporation and completed in phases from 2008, the complex was designed by award-winning architect T.R. The ground-floor and basement retail podium at Connexis — the one-north tower above the MRT station — houses Cold Storage supermarket, a Koufu food court, Fitness First gym with a penthouse pool, MindChamps education centre, Starbucks, cafés, and diverse dining and service options. Citadines Fusionopolis serviced apartments also form part of the development, alongside an experimental Genexis Theatre. One-North MRT Station (CC23) on the Circle Line is built directly into the basement of the development, and Buona Vista MRT Station (EW21/CC22) — an interchange between the East-West and Circle Lines — is a short walk away. The Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) provides fast road access across the island.
