Funan Mall
History runs deep at 107 North Bridge Road in Singapore's Civic District — the address that Funan has occupied since 1985, first as Funan Centre, then as Funan The IT Mall and Funan DigitaLife Mall, and now as the boldly reimagined Funan that reopened in June 2019 after a S$560 million redevelopment. Owned and managed by CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, today's Funan is a landmark mixed-use integrated development comprising a six-level retail mall, two office towers, and lyf Funan Singapore — a millennial-focused co-living serviced residence — totalling approximately 889,000 sq ft of gross floor area.
The new Funan is a departure from any conventional Singapore shopping mall. Its 38,000 sq ft of net lettable retail space is built around an active lifestyle concept: a three-level Climb Central indoor climbing wall forms the architectural centrepiece, complemented by a Rei Cycle indoor cycling studio, a futsal court, a rooftop urban farm, and an integrated indoor cycling path threading through the building. Anchor tenants include Don Don Donki, NTUC FairPrice, Apple Premium Reseller, Decathlon, Play Nation e-sports venue, a Koufu food hall, and over 180 tenants across tech, sports, outdoor, lifestyle, dining, and creative retail categories. The programming deliberately targets the creative and tech professional demographic underserved by traditional Orchard Road malls.
An underground pedestrian link from Funan's Basement 2 connects directly to City Hall MRT Station (NS25/EW13), an interchange between the North-South and East-West Lines. Nearby landmarks include the National Gallery Singapore, St Andrew's Cathedral, and the Civic District heritage precinct.
