Ayer Rajah Market

Ayer Rajah Market is a beloved neighbourhood hawker and wet market complex at 503 West Coast Drive in the Clementi area of western Singapore. Originally established in 1979 to serve the West Coast residential community and the student population of the nearby National University of Singapore, the centre underwent a full renovation and reopened in August 2022 with a fresh exterior and improved facilities.

The food centre houses around 80 cooked food stalls, making it one of the most comprehensive hawker destinations in the west. It is especially well-regarded for its Indian-Muslim and Malay offerings, with stalls serving Mee Goreng, Indian Rojak, Mee Rebus, Satay, Kambing Soup, and BBQ Stingray — including 17 stalls recognised with the Singapore Top Heritage Food Award. Adjacent to the food centre is a traditional wet market selling fresh fish, meat, and produce, alongside daily conveniences such as an NTUC minimart, a 7-Eleven, fruit and flower stalls, laundry services, and a 24-hour gym.

Ayer Rajah Market is located between Clementi MRT Station (EW23) and Jurong East MRT Station (EW24/NS1), a 15–20 minute walk from Clementi MRT. Bus services 78, 282, and 285 stop along West Coast Drive nearby.
